History

January 2011.

In 2005, the patient experienced an episode of tingling in one leg, followed by spontaneous recovery. In 2008 the patient encountered a blurred spot in the right eye without pain. Again spontaneous recovery.

In October 2010 the patient developed tingling in her right hand which still exists. These complaints expanded in January to the right leg and right hand. And since a couple of days, tingling in the right side of her nose and upper lip.

Tractus anamnesis: Crohn's disease diagnosed in 2002, initially treated with prednisone. Now 6 years Imuran and one year Remicade (Infliximab). The latter has recently been discontinued due to demyelination as possible side effect. No intestinal surgery in anamnesis.

Medication: 1 x 100 mg Imuran, oral contraceptives, folic acid.

Intoxications: patient smokes, rarely drinks alcohol.

Family history: negative for MS, brother of the father has Crohn's disease.
